Hey, guys! We just wanted to let you know that we’ve updated the patch for Knot Fiction to v1.1, so in case you’re planning to read it, or are still reading it, you should definitely grab the new version of the patch and apply it. The new patch provides a better reading experience. Namely, we were able to fix the awkward word wrap and bad font, courtesy of Kebab_Jesus (truly the most heavenly combination) and an anonymous hacker. Here are some screenshots showcasing the difference between the old and new text display:
We’re now satisfied with the way text looks, and we wish we could’ve done something like this sooner. It just proves to show how important techies are for VN projects. God bless people who make things like this possible.
Anyway, it’s been a week since we released Knot Fiction, and we’re really happy with the feedback we got from the community so far. We didn’t expect such a nice reception, so everyone in the team’s happy with how our before-first project turned out. Not only that, but we even got some kind people to help us with some of the tech issues we had. That’s something we really didn’t expect, so it was a welcome surprise ^^
Stay tuned for what we have in store next! You can follow us on this blog and through our Discord server (link is in the menu at the top right corner). We also have a Twitter account here. Expect fun things from us in the future 🙂
